Frequently asked questions

Will my Slidesgo Premium subscription renew automatically?

Yes. Unless you cancel your subscription, it will automatically renew. Please note that we will contact you to monitor your team's needs so that we can reevaluate your subscription each year, regardless of renewal.

Can I cancel anytime and ask for a refund?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Click the drop-down arrow at the top right corner and select "My Subscription". You will find the "Cancel subscription" option below your billing information on the left of the "Save changes" button.
We do not offer refunds for the subscriptions once the payment has been made. You will remain a Premium user until the expiration date of the subscription. You can find this information on your subscription page.

I am a school and want to use the Slidesgo Education plan with my underage students. Is that possible? How is their privacy managed?

Yes, we have thought especially about teachers and students who want to use the Slidesgo subscription plans. Therefore, we comply with GDPR, COPPA, and FERPA laws and do not collect personal data for subsidiary accounts linked to the admin account.

How can I assign users to my Slidesgo subscription plan?

As the admin of the Slidesgo subscription, you will be able to add users to your account in two different ways:

Via email. Users can join a team by receiving an invitation email, allowing them to set up an account and its associated password by themselves. This is best for adults since it will enable them to use their personal/work email to manage their privacy settings.

Manually. Users can also join a team by being manually added by the admin. At Slidesgo, we strongly recommend this option for minors and underage students–even with an email account–since the admin can generate usernames and passwords without adding any personal information.

When do the email invitations expire?

Once you send an invitation by email, it is valid for one month. During that month, the spots will be busy, and you will see a "pending" label next to the user. If they don’t accept your invitation, that spot will be released after 30 days, and you can send a new invitation to the same or a different person.

Can I add extra users to my Premium/Education subscription?

Yes. To add more users, go to "My users" and click on "Update plan". When a popup screen appears, select the number of extra users you want to add to your Slidesgo Premium/Education plan and press the Confirm and Pay button. Your extra users will be added instantly, and you can assign them right away.

What are FERPA, COPPA, and GDPR laws?

FERPA, COPPA, and GDPR are data privacy laws designed to protect individuals' personal information.

FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) is a United States federal law protecting the privacy of student education records. This law applies to all schools that receive funding from the U.S. Department of Education. FERPA gives parents certain rights to access and control their child's education records while also limiting the disclosure of personally identifiable information in those records without the parent's consent.

COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) is a U.S. federal law regulating the collection of personal information from children under 13. The law requires website operators to obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from children. COPPA also requires operators to notify parents about their information practices and delete personal information upon request.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a European Union regulation that governs the collection, use, and storage of the personal data of EU citizens. This law applies to all organizations, regardless of their location, that process the personal data of EU citizens. GDPR gives individuals greater control over their personal data, including the right to access, correct, and delete their data. The regulation also requires organizations to obtain consent for the collection and use of personal data and to implement appropriate security measures to protect personal data.

How can the members of my subscription log in to their accounts?

To access the team:
Users invited via email: They can use the link provided to set up their accounts by themselves. Then they can log in normally via the usual login button.
Users manually added: These users must log in via a custom URL for your school or company with the username and password provided. You can find this custom URL in your account's "My team" section. Within this section, you will find the "Access URL" button under the list of users. This will open a new page containing a link: that is the one you must provide to your users so they can log in to their Premium accounts

If the manually added users do not have an email associated with them, how can they recover or change their password?

Only the admin can change a user's password and provide it to them. To do this, go to your user menu (in the top right corner) and click "My team". Next to each user, you will find an option to view or reset the current password.

I am a user who has been added to a Slidesgo Premium/Education plan. Do I have access to all the Premium features?

Yes, you can access thousands of free and Premium assets and download up to 150 templates per month.
